Markus Nievergelt (left) and Dwain Harris, two great friends of mine, won awards at the 1998 Copperstate evening banquet. Markus won the 'Road Runner' award for having traveled the farthest (Zürich, Switzerland) to attend Copperstate and Dwain won 1st Place, Custom Metal Built.

Dwain's 'hangermate' at Whiteman (CA) airport is Walt Hastings who has a beautiful RV-6A. Walt's plane is the nearest RV-6A to Antelope Valley (I'm surrounded by RV-6s!).
