This airplane has been flying since March, 1972. Construction time was 2 years, 3 months and about 3,000 hours. It was built by my father and myself. I was only 10, so I did what I could (hand him tools and stuff like that). He told me since the time it first flew, that if I got my license, he would give me the plane. In 1993, I did, and he did! It now has about 1000 hours flying time on it, and my wife and I fly it about 100 hours/year now. The wheels are original airplane wheels from the late 1920s. We've flown it to the state of Washington, and to the east coast and back. Nothing's more fun! Power is a 85hp Continental, takeoff and landings are slow, climb is good and cruises 80-90mph.

Happy Landings!
