COVERING THE WINGS
The
fabric, a light weight, unshrunk Dacron, was first rolled out onto the
wing.
The
fabric was smoothed out over the wing, then clamped in place around the
edges.
The edges of the
fabric were marked with a magic marker, then trimmed with pinking shears.
A fast-drying cement was applied to the wing leading and trailing edges
and the fabric was pressed into place.
